Home Instructions Following Endodontic Treatment

1. Avoid chewing on the tooth for several days to a week.
   
   
2. Some soreness may be present in the treated area for as long as a week. If this occurs, taking an over-the-counter medication, such as Tylenol or ibuprofen, will usually restore comfort.
   
   
3. If swelling or severe discomfort should occur, please phone for instructions.
   
   
4. Should any condition arise which causes you concern, please call this office.
   
   
5. When endodontic treatment is completed we will advise you to either return to your dentist for a permanent restoration or for routine dental care.
